![]() Introduction: While painting in Krita, I was still switching palettes between my old previous palettes, the one I added on Krita default and two other created on the fly for Pepper&Carrot. Krita also ships with a useful script called Ten Brushes, which allows the association of ten custom shortcuts to ten arbitrary brushes. Krita palettes Published on 07 march 2017 Update: 2018-04 A enhanced version of this palettes joined the default in Krita 4.x. The common brush options such as size, opacity, angle et cetera will be shown when you click the > icon. Useful for painting textures with multiple colors, like reptile skin, tree bark, stars, etc. Krita ships with a set of preset brushes that allow this. The tag list for brush preset will show you the list of both custom and default tags to choose from, selecting a tag from this list will show the corresponding brush presets in the palette. For this reason, we can just use a different brush in the palette, specifically set up for the purpose of erasing. Since we’re rewriting tagging system now, I thought it might be useful to know. I even released it as a bundle: and for me, tagging was always my question was mostly because knowing workflows and usecases that cannot be achieved using the current system helps in figuring out how to improve on the system to allow for this kind of usecases. ![]() As Krita 3.1.xs current design, when the cursor is above the popup palette, another right click selects. They’re not the default ones - one is a circle brush that was adjusted to perfection for sketching, with the perfect pressure curve for Wacom Intuos and all, one pixel brush with predefined brush tip for painting and one blender with the same predefined tip that the other brush had, for some rare occasions when the painting brush doesn’t do well. 1) Right-click can pick color and select brush presets. ![]()
